Search Davidson County Court Records Online

Types of Davidson County Court Records
Davidson County court records come from the North Carolina General Court of Justice. Superior Court handles felony criminal matters and civil cases over $25,000. Public Access for Davidson County Court Records
Davidson County court records are governed by court-record statutes and by the practical access rules of the Judicial Branch. G.S. 7A-109 requires clerks to maintain records, files, dockets, and indexes prescribed by the Administrative Office of the Courts, and it makes those records open to public inspection unless another law blocks disclosure. G.S. Chapter 132 states North Carolina's general public-records policy, but court files have their own court-specific rules and limits.

Restricted Davidson County Court Records
Some Davidson County court records are public only in part, and some are not public at all. Juvenile delinquency and juvenile abuse, neglect, and dependency matters are restricted.
